I would recommend ” New Year’s Eve”. It’s a movie about how 8 groups of people welcome the New Year. I especially like the story of the hospitalized father and his daughter.

I recommend the movie called Any Day Now. It’s about a gay couple and a child with Down syndrome who was abandoned by his parents living together like a family. In the end, due to prejudice against the gay couple, the boy is taken away from them.

I recommend “Cruella”. This movie focuses the woman named Cruella, who is a villain in “One Hundred and One Dalmatians”. The acting, the story and the costumes are wonderful.
I haven’t watched some movies recently, but I used to watched the animation movies created by Mamoru Hosoda. His works make me exciting, moved and encouraged so I recommend them. I’d like to go to watch his movies near future again.

I recommend the Japanese movie “Sunano Utsuwa”. It depicts various human aspects, such as discrimination against people with infectious diseases and poverty during the Showa Era. The main character rises from these hardships to gain fame, but his upbringing casts a shadow over him.
My favorite movie is ‘The Guns of Navarone’. Its scene is WW2. The story is a special team of the Allied Forces would destroy a German battery. They overcame a lot of challenges, including betrayal, and finally achieved a goal. You should see it.
I reccomend a movie called “I Wish I Could Meet You Again on the Hill Where That Flower Blooms” from Japan.

I recommend ”captain Phillips“ starry by Tom Hanks. Tom played a captain of an American cargo ship. A pirate ship tried to deprive his crews of money. And then the American navy came to fight the pirates. It was a true story . A film full of thrills and suspense.
