My favorite city is Rockford in the USA . My older daughter studied there about 20years ago. I went to see her in summer vacation. I stayed at her host mother’s house about 1week. She was very friendly and took us a lot of different places. When I left there. I cried. I didn’t speak English well then and couldn’t talk with her well. I am still very grateful to her.

New York will always be my favorite city. I started exploring it when I was 18 years old and was instantly addicted to that city. Since then, I’ve lost count at how many times I’ve been there. I’ve never gone to the touristy spots because I think the city itself, the people, the variety of cultures, the music, etc., are more interesting. Like every big city in the USA, it has its problems, but that’s okay. Everyone should visit New York City at least once to experience American culture at its finest. There is an old romantic-comedy movie called “When Harry Met Sally” that was filmed in New York. Many of my favorite places are in that movie.
My favorite city is Venice because it was my first time traveling alone to Europe. I love the beautiful river views, the pastel colored houses and the Venetian glass. I want to go there again.

I like Kurakuen, where I live now, because there is a lot of nature and it’s not inconvenient. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the nearby station, and there are a couple of supermarkets. Plus, you can enjoy all sorts of brilliant restaurants and popular bakeries. With the onset of spring, a lot of kinds of birds will wake you up with their chirpings. Besides, you can enjoy full-opening cherry blossoms every day.

I love Miyakojima. The public transportation in the ward is convenient. It is easy to to get to Umeda and Shin-Osaka. Still it has a big hospital and a lot of various stores. It has all the essential necessities to live well.

My favorite city is Sakai city in Osaka. I had lived there for five years four years ago. Especially I like riverside of Yamato river. I used to go there to see plants and insects . Not only nature, Sakai city also has shopping malls and train stations, so it’s very convenient.
