I would recommend “Izu”.
It’s not too far from Tokyo and Kanagawa.
You can enjoy the sea and mountains.And delicious seafood and hot springs are also nice!

I would recommend Nara to visit.
You can see a lot of deer in the park, on the road, and everywhere.
Surprisingly they are used to living with people.

After all I would recommend Kyoto. There are a lot of temples and shrines. You should go to a riverside terrace that is called “kaeadoko” in Japaneses. We can enjoy meals there.

I would recommend Kinkaku-ji in Kyoto. It is renowned for its golden exterior. I sometimes feel like visiting the dazzling building.
I would recommend Kanazawa.You can see the magnificent castle and townscape of the Edo period.Gardens such as Kenrokuen are also wonderful. Winter is the best time to visit. You can eat fresh seafood such as delicious crab and blackthroat seaperch. And there are hot springs nearby.

I recommend them to go to Koshien ballpark if they like baseball. People wear Tigers uniforms and they have cheering instruments to root for Tigers.Watching baseball at the stadium is much different from watching on television. I am sure they can enjoy the atmosphere and spend a great time.

I recommend Tenryu-ji Temple in Kyoto. Especially, Tenryu-ji Temple at night is fantastic and wonderful!

I would recommend Kyoto especially in spring, because it’s beautiful. The cherry blossoms are wonderful, and there is a festival where geisha dance in Gion.

I would recommend the Amagasaki Castle. You can see the Amagasaki Castle VR theater and experience sword fighting. It is a five minute walk from Amagasaki Station.

The place I would like to recommend to my friends abroad is Seibuen Amusement Park, because it allows you to travel back in time to the Showa era.
I would recommend Miyajima. I want to stay at Miyajima and see the views at both high and low tide.
I’d like to recommend Kanazawa
(Ishikawa prefecture, in north-west area of Japan). Kanazawa is a comfortable city which has rich cultural heritage. You can see beautiful porcelains, textiles and lacquerwares. Local foods and sweets are quite sophisticatedly delicious!
Like so many cities in Japan, Kanazawa is an interesting mix of old and new. That’s a real good recommendation!
I would recommend for my foreign friends to visit the Himeji castle and the Great Buddha at Nara.

I’d like to recommend Hikone in Shiga prefecture. There are historical towns and it also has the national heritage castle “Hikone-Jo”. Most of Japanese castles are rebuilt replicas, but Hikone-Jo remains from Edo era. If you visit the castle, I recommend the rich matcha ice cream sold at the tea shop near the castle! Hikone also near the Japanese largest lake Biwa, so you can enjoy swimming or cruising.

I would recommend Koyasan in Wakayama Prefecture. It is a mystical place.
I want to recommend some restaurants where I often go. For example, a BBQ restaurant run by a unique owner that serves pretty tasty meats at reasonable prices or a pub restaurant where you can cheaply enjoy all sorts of delicious Japanese dishes.
They sound like great shops!
I’m not a very “touristy person” but there is plenty to see and do in Yokohama. I like to sit down on a bench in Yamashita Park in autumn with some coffee and just take in the waterfront. Then perhaps a nice late lunch in Chinatown.
I would recommend Ise Jingu Shrine in Mie Prefecture.
I would recommend Kyoto. There are a lot of Japanese things to see and eat.

Shigaraki is a pottery town.
Raccoon pottery is very famous.

I’d recommend my father’s hometown, Shigaraki in Shiga, because there are a lot of beautiful tea plantations, a lot of ascending kilns for pottery and so on.
Also, we can see traditional Japanese scenery.

Okinawa is famous tourist spot rich in natural beauty.

I would recommend the Awaji iland. According to Japanese mythology, Izanami no Mikoto who is a female deity gave birth to Japan. They say that the Awaji iland is the first child of Izanami, and then Shikoku iland, Kynshu iland and the last one is Honshu.
Izanami is the mothe of Japan, and Izanagi is the father of Japan. The couple of deity are worshiped in Izanagi shrine in Awaji iland. The iland is a treasure house of marine products. From the ancient times to Heian period, Awaji iland was designeted for providing the imperial family members with luxurious marine foods.
