英語を教える-執筆

スミス英会話相模原校で英語を教えることは私の喜びです。最近、英語を教えること以外の私の仕事は執筆することだと気がつきました。これは強制されていることではなく、自分で楽しんでやるようになったことです。

何年も前にスミス英会話オーナー講師ミーティングでブログやサブページを書くというアイディアが出た時に私はあまり楽しみではありませんでした。必要なことなのかが分からなかったのです。納得のいくまで少し時間がかかりましたが、今では楽しい習慣になりました。

現在、それから約15年が経ち、振り返ってみるとブログ50ページとこのページのようなサブページを30以上書きました。執筆もこの仕事のうちの１つになりました。書くたびに、慣れて簡単に書けるようになり、さらに楽しくなります。スミス英会話多くのオーナー講師たちが同じことをしています。私たちはチームワークで働き、お互いのブログを読めるのを楽しんでいます。スミス英会話の生徒様も楽しんでくれているでしょう。事実、スミス英会話の生徒様は毎週日曜日に配信されるスミス英会話ウィークリーマガジンで講師が書いたブログを受け取ります。

私は日本での体験を書くことが大好きです。相模原校の生徒様についても、生徒様の許可を得て書きます。スミス英会話に所属する良さについて書くことも好きです。そして心から好きなのは、相模原校のクラス内でのことです。生徒様が英語を話す自信をつけるのを見られるのは素晴らしいです。生徒様がスミス英会話ウィークリーマガジンで配信された講師のブログを読み、ワンポイントレッスンを活用しているのを見ると嬉しくなります。クラスの中でもウィークリーマガジンの内容について話すことができます。話す機会も増えてきているので、これからも書き続けます！

Sagamihara City, Smith’s School of English, Teaching English - In Writing

Teaching English at Smith’s School of English here in Sagamihara is a pleasure. Recently I realized that another part of my job is writing. It isn’t something that is required. It is something that I have grown to enjoy doing.

I wasn’t excited about the idea of writing when it was brought up at a Smith’s Owner’s meeting so many years ago. It seemed like an unnecessary task. It took a bit of convincing, but after some time, it became an enjoyable habit. 

Now, some 15 years later, I look back and see that I have written over 50 blogs and 30+ short pages like this one. Writing has become another part of this job that I like. The more I do it, the easier and more enjoyable it becomes. Many of Smith’s School of English owners do the same thing. We enjoy the teamwork and reading each other’s blogs. I know that our students like it too. In fact, they receive something that we’ve written every Sunday via Smith’s School of English Weekly Mail Magazine.

I love writing about my experiences here in Japan. I love writing about my students when they give me permission to do so. I love writing about the goodness of belonging to Smith’s School of English. And I certainly love what happens in the classroom. Watching my students gain confidence in their ability to speak English is wonderful. I am always happy when I learn that my students read our blogs and take advantage of the One-Point Lesson. Talking in class about the contents of the weekly mail magazine is an added bonus. It’s happening more and more, so I guess I’ll keep writing!
