Graded Readersで英語の勉強
Grade Readersは英語学習者のレベルに合わせた英語で書かれた短い本で、英語が初心者の方でも英語の勉強用に読むことができます。多くの大きな会社がGrade Readersを出版していて、中でも2つの大きな会社はオックスフォードブックワームとペンギンリーダーズです。
大きな会社から出版されているGrade Readersは１～６のレベルがあります。レベル１はとても簡単な単語が使われていて、レベルが上がるにつれて本の内容は長くなり難しくなります。いくつかのスミス英会話スクール、例えばスミス英会話大津校には生徒様がGrade Readersを無料で借りられる図書コーナーがあります。素晴らしいサービスです！
低価格のGrade Readers
大きい会社から出ているGrade Readersの良くない点は、本のページ数に対して価格が高いことです。数ページに1000円前後払わなければなりません。そのため、約10年前私は初心者の方の英語学習のために Grade Readersを書きました。Amazonの電子書籍サービスであるKindle(キンドル)で電子版の出版をしました、そうすれば誰でも高いお金を払わずに英語の勉強をすることができます。Kindle Unlimitedという読み放題のサービスに加入していれば無料で、もしくは1冊単体135円で電子版を読んでいただけます。
私のGrade Readers
もし私のGrade Readersに興味があれば、Amazonで“The storied of Tom and James Sven’s Step Up Readers”と検索してみてください。今のところ、4冊のGrade Readersを出版しています。ストーリーはつながっていますので、1冊目から読んでみてください。そして2023年の9月に、5冊目を出版する予定です。紙で読みたいという方のために、春に紙バージョンも作りAmazonにあります。悲しいことに、Amazonで紙の本を出版すると価格が高くなるので、私のGrade Readersも1000円近い価格になってしまいます。ですから、3冊のシリーズを１冊にまとめて、1冊990円にすることができました。どうぞGrade Readersで英語の勉強を楽しんでください！

I have purchased and read all five of these books of yours.
I also wrote Amazon book reviews for each of the five books, but two of them were rejected.
I wrote two of them in English, but they told me that there is a rule that reviews about books bought from Amazon Japan must be written in Japanese.
And this is a very personal request, l’m afraid l’m asking too much of you, but could you please tell me the total word count of each of the five books you have written?
The reason for this is that I keep track of the word counts of all English books I have read.
I read mainly graded readers, and the total word count of the books I have read is over 8 million words.
And I have been writing a blog for 13 years in Japanese, where I have written a synopsis of about 200 graded readers, the word count of the book, and my opinion of them, for those who want to learn English by reading simple English books.
This blog is also a record of my gradual study of English.
I would appreciate it if you could tell me the total word count of each of the five books for me and for many other people who want to read English books.

4)The Beauty Contest: 1919
5)Mary’s Friends: 4146
All word counts are from the original scripts in Microsoft Word, so they include all titles and everything.
