One of my best memories is eating Poisson cru in Tahiti on our honeymoon. Poisson cru is basically tuna sashimi salad: raw tuna chunks, tomato, cucumber and onion all soaked in salt and lime juice and then coconut milk.
It sounds delicious. It also sounds like Ceviche. Is it like that?

I was the assistant manager of a youth mountaineering camp. Our chef prepared a magnificent meal made of very simple ingredients, high in the mountains. It was really good.

A ryokan in Shimoda, Izu had the best spread of food I have ever eaten! I’ve been there about 5 times. Sorry, I cannot recall the name.
