  • I would recommend Shiga prefecture, because I live in Shiga! Aside from that, the largest lake in Japan is located here, as well as multiple World Heritage Sites and beautiful scenery, plus Shiga is right next to Kyoto so really convenient.

  • Kyoto is the place to introduce to foreigners. I specially want them to go to see Ginkaku Temple and Katsura Imperial Villa. Because I think they are the origin of Japanese Style Houses and Gardens.

  • I would recommend Kyoto.
    There are a lot sightseeing place, that are worth seeing.
    I was born in Kyoto even though I have not been every famous places, because where are so many.
    So if I will visit Kyoto with foreign friends, definitely I need a plenty of days to see that.

  • I recommend Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto. It’s famous for many Torii gates. It’s open 24 hours, not crowd at night. – Sagami AI (student)

  • I would recommend the Osaka museum of Housing and Living.
    You can see and experience the streets and buildings of old Osaka.
    It’s as if we’ve gone back in time to old Japan.
    And there are many good shops near this building, so you can eat and walk around.

    That is the place I like the most since I have started living in Miyakojima.

    Red torii gates are row very famous.
    But I recommend climbing the mountain top for the view.

  • I would recommend for my foreign friends to visit Ise Jingu that is a shrine located in Ise City, Mie Prefecture.
    It is one of my favarite places.
    The area of Ise Jingu is about 5,500 hectares, which is the size of about 1,200 Tokyo Domes.
    Ise Jingu is the highest shrine in Japan and famous as a power spot.

  • I would recommend Osaka University.
    The campus is a little far from the city ,but very large and has lots of beautiful nature.
    There are many laboratories and libraries open 24 hours.
    It is a very good place for foreigners who want to concentrate on their studying.

  • I would recommend Janjan Yokocho in Shinsekai.
    There are many nostalgic amusement acades and restaurants in the area.

  • I recommend for my foreign friends to visit Koyasan in Wakayama prefecture at least one. Koyasan is one of birth place of Japanese Buddhism, built over 1200 years ago. We arrive the mountain town by train, cable car, bus from Namba in Osaka city, we immediately feel that there is a power spot filled with ancient Japanese Buddhism. We can have a special experience by spending a time there.

  • I would recommend them to visit Fushimi Inari shrine. That place has so many entrances of shrines “torii” and is very unique and a perfect place for sightseeing.

  • I would recommend Kanazawa of Ishikawa Prefecture. Kanazawa isn’t a big city, but I believe you can learn about the culture of Japanese Samuri period and enjoy local dishes there.

    If you pray
    Senbon Tori gates of Fushimi Inari Taisha while praying it’s said that your wish will come true if you pass through and I want you to experience

  • My reccomendation is Kyoto.
    There are a lot of good place and foods in Kyoto.
    Espacally, I recommend there for first time visiting in Japan. Maybe they can feel the Japan traditional cultur easily.

  • I’d recommend the Cup Noodle Museum in Ikeda city.
    I’ve heard that Japanese instant noodles are famous in the world.
    We can make a custom made cup noodle.

  • I most memorable memory is when i was hide school student I went to Hokkaido on a school trip and ate ice cream at the Yukijirushi parlor
