沖縄・宮古島旅行2016 初日

9月22日～25日まで、 沖縄県の宮古島 に行ってきました。沖縄県本島、渡嘉敷島(とかしきじま)、阿嘉島(あかじま)、座間味島(ざまみじま)、久米島(くめじま)は前にも行ったことあるのですが宮古島を訪れたことはありませんでした。私はこの旅をとても楽しみにしていました！

私たちは22日に大阪の伊丹空港を出発して午後に宮古島に着きました。台風の時期だったので、出発前から天気をとても心配していましたが、宮古島に到着すると曇っていものの雨は降っていませんでした。

市内で車を借りて、宮古島南部をドライブして予約していたホテルブリーズベイマリーナにチェックインしました。とてもフレンドリーで親切なスタッフ達で良いホテルでした。部屋はベッドが少し硬めでしたが、スタイリッシュで清潔、海の綺麗な景色が見えました。

その日の夜、夕飯を食べに宮古島市内に戻り、「さんご家」 というレストラン行きました。お店はゆったりできる雰囲気で、食事は素晴らしかったです。宮古もずく、シーザーサラダ、手羽先とゴーヤチャンプルを頼み、すべておいしいお料理で素晴らしかったです。

On September 22~25, I and a friend visited Miyakojima, Okinawa.  Although I have been to the main island of Okinawa (Hondo), Tokashiki, Aka, Zamami and Kume islands I had never been to Miyako. I was really looking forward to this trip!!

We left from Itami Airport on the 22nd and arrived on Miyakojima later that afternoon. Before we left, we were very worried about the weather because it was typhoon season, but when we arrived it was cloudy, but no rain.

After picking up our rental car in Miyakojima City, we drove to the south of the island and then checked into our hotel. The hotel that we chose was the Hotel Baybreeze Marina.  It is a very nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.  The beds were a little hard but the room was stylish and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean.
That evening we drove back to Miyakojima City to eat dinner at a restaurant called “Sango Ya” The restaurant had a really cozy interior and the food was excellent. We enjoyed eating mozoku, caesar salad, grilled chicken wings, goya chanpuru (bitter melon) Everything we ate there was excellent.
