スミス英会話の本部には、私たちオーナー講師をサポートしてくれる才能あるスタッフがいます。1996年のスミス英会話設立時、電話応対やスミス英会話に興味を持った人と話しをすることから始まりました。無理なセールスはしません。学校についての説明だけです。そして生徒様からのレッスン予約、キャンセルや予約変更を全て電話で受けていました。ファックスも1日中鳴っていましたが、これらはもうなくなりました。

Smith's School of English has a staff that is loaded with talent to support us. Decades ago, it started small with answering the phone and talking to people interested in Smith’s. No selling. Just information. They also took calls from students that were reserving, canceling, or changing lesson times. Fax machines were humming all day. But that is no more.

Smith's School of English is entirely digital now. Telephone use has decreased significantly. The fax machines are gone. Smith’s staff is now able to make better use of their time for the benefit of the owners and students. This bilingual staff has become professional translators, web designers, internet ad experts, and as always, advisers for Smith's franchise owners. Existing students no longer need to call the office to book or cancel lessons. They can do it all online. Going digital also gives the staff more time to care for specific student telephone requests. It is so easy for me (us) to be in this system because of the support we receive. In fact, I once relocated my school in Sagamihara and was amazed with how smooth the transition was-  all due to their outstanding support!
