家族で英会話を習う

In the past I have had the opportunity to teach members of the same family, although not always together. Long ago I remember a newly married husband and wife studying together in my classroom, preparing for their honeymoon in Hawaii. I also remember a brother and sister from the same family studying with me seperately. They were teenagers, both preparing for their future. One of them is still in touch with me, working for a trading company now in Tokyo. I really appreciate it when they stay in touch!

This year (2023) Smith’s Sagamihara  received a wonderful “bonus” to the student population. This husband and wife team studies English together every week. They chose Smith’s “Powerful Course” because they needed the flexibility to reserve lessons anytime. They always take lessons together. Everytime I see them pop-up on my schedule, I smile, and say to myself “this is gonna be good.”

They are full into Smith’s School of English. They read Smith’s School of English weekly mail magazine and respond to our free “one-point lesson.” They also read our blogs and always have something to say about them. And they make me laugh! I so enjoy every minute of their classes because they are not afraid to speak English and make mistakes. They laugh at their own mistakes and learn from them. Such a pleasure for me to help these two people improve their confidence in speaking English! I hope they stay with me for a long, long time. I love them and this job of mine!

スミス英会話相模原校では、同じ時間のレッスンとは限りませんが、家族で通う生徒様に英会話を教えることもあります。新婚のご夫婦で通われて新婚旅行のハワイへ行く準備をされた方もいましたし、兄妹で別の時間に通って勉強された方もいました。彼ら兄妹は、当時学生だったので将来のために勉強されていました。兄妹のうち1人の生徒様とは今でも交流がありますが、現在は東京の商社で働かれています。交流を続けようと言ってくれるのはとても嬉しいです！
