スミス英会話生駒校からはトレイルランができる生駒山のハイキングコースへのアクセスが簡単です。初めて生駒に来た時この街は私に合っていると思いました、なぜなら生駒市は生駒山の麓に位置しているからです。私は昔から山が大好きで、山登りもします。山を越えることは私にとって喜びです。健康も維持したいので登山を楽しめますし、登っている間は気持ちが良いです。

生駒山は私にとって健康を維持するのにいい機会でした！以前は早起きをしてアパートから走っていました。生駒駅まで走り、そこから消防署の道を走りイタリアンレストラン、トヨジタリーノを過ぎます。そして真っすぐ長い道を生駒健民グラウンドまで登っていきます。その後少しすると、スミス英会話生駒校に通う生徒様がバトミントンをプレイする生駒市体育館を通り過ぎます。私たちの街にはこんなに多くの施設があって幸運です。

寶山寺(ほうざんじ)まで来るとその後はドライブロードになるので、先には行けません。お寺から山の上までは、メンテナンスされた快適なハイキングコースがあり生駒山上遊園地まで続いています。私はそこで引き返して来た道を戻ります。このコースは体系維持をしたい方にもおすすめの素晴らしいコースです。

今回ご紹介したコースは何年も走っていましたが生駒で初めて見つけたコースで、今では山頂へ行くコースを他にもいくつか見つけました。さらに新しいコースを見つけられたらいいなと思っています！

Mt Ikoma trail running is easily accessed from my English School in Ikoma. When I first arrived in Ikoma I knew this was a good town for me because it is nestled at the foot of Mount Ikoma. I have always loved mountains, and climbing them. Just moving over the mountain is a joy for me. I also like to keep fit so that I can enjoy climbing mountains and feel good while I climb.

Mount Ikoma was my opportunity to keep fit! I used to get up early and run from my apartment. I ran up to Ikoma station. From there, I ran up the road past the fire station, and past Toyojitalinos Italian restaurant. Then it was a long straight road up to the Ikoma Sports ground. Then after a short while, I was running past the Ikoma Civic Gymnasium, where some of my students play badminton. We are so lucky to have all these amenities in this town.

I continued up to Houzanji temple where I had to go off the road. From the temple, there is a delightful and well maintained hiking trail to the top of the mountain where you can find Ikomasanjo Amusement Park. That was where I turned around and started back down. It’s an excellent trail for getting into really good shape if you want to.

The path I described was the first path that I used to run but over the years, I have discovered many more trails to the top of the mountain. I hope to discover even more, too!
