2026年夏で一番暑い時期

2026年の夏も去年と変わらず暑いので、クールダウンする方法を探しましょう！エアコンの効いた室内にいる、大阪の素晴らしい百貨店などに買い物に行く、北海道へ旅行に行くということもできます。スミス英会話布施校では、今年も8月の1週目においしいアイスクリームでクールダウンしようと決めました！

2026年のアイスクリーム

8月1週目の英会話レッスンに来た生徒様全員に用意した今年のアイスクリームは、明治エッセルスーパーカップミニでした！4つの味はどれもおいしい、バニラ、クッキーバニラ、チョコレートクッキー、抹茶です。生徒様はそれぞれ一番好きな味を選ぶことができます。また、このアイスはプラスチック製ではなく紙製のカップを導入しており環境にも良いです。私はこのアイスをスミス英会話布施校からすぐの場所にある近鉄布施駅の高架下にある近商ストアで購入しました。近商ストアにはたくさんの種類のお弁当があるので、布施校に来る前によく夕食を買います。暑い夏にぴったりの涼しいデザートになりました！

布施校恒例のアイスクリームウィーク

布施校初めてアイスクリームウィークは16年前で私が布施校で英語を教え始めた時だったので、アイスクリームウィークは布施校の夏を涼む恒例イベントです。ほぼ毎年、布施校の生徒様は夏の暑さをしのぐため8月1週目のアイスクリームウィークを楽しんできました。7月になって暑くなり始めるとアイスクリームについて聞く生徒様もいます！去年は、新型コロナウィルス感染症の影響で長くお休みした後初めてのアイスクリームウィークで、もう生徒様ががっかりすることはありません。私はすでにまた来年、アイスクリームを楽しんでいる生徒様の幸せそうな顔を見るのが楽しみです！

The hottest time this summer

This summer is nearly as hot as last year's, so let's find a way to cool down! One can stay inside with air-condition, go shopping at one of the great department stores in Osaka or travel to Hokkaido. In Fuse, we have decided to cool down again in the first week in August with a delicious ice-cream!

This year's ice-cream

Meiji Essel SuperCup Mini was this year's ice-cream waiting for all the students who came in the first week of August! There are four very delicious flavors: vanilla, cookie vanilla, chocolate cookie and macha. Each student could choose the flavor they like most! They also have introduced paper cups instead of plastic ones, which is much better for the environment. I bought them at the Kinsho supermarket under the Kintetsu Fuse station just around the corner from Smith's school of English in Fuse! They have a great variety of lunch boxes, so I often go there to buy dinner before I come to the school. A fantastic treat to cool of during the hot summer!

A long tradition of Ice-cream week at Fuse

The first ice-cream week at the Fuse school was 16 years ago when I began teaching here at this school, so it is already a traditional cool off event. Nearly every year, the students enjoyed the ice-cream snack in the first week of August to cool off from the summer heat, and sometimes one asks me for the event when it starts to get hot in July! Like last year, the first ice-cream week after a long pause of the tradition because of Corona, they were not left disappointed. I am already looking forward to next year to see the happy faces of the students who enjoy their ice cream treat!
