暑い夏

この夏も暑いですよね？スミス英会話布施校のある大阪、布施の夏もいつものように暑いですが、ここ数年は特に暑いです。クールダウンしましょう！クールダウンするには、プールに行く、室内でアイスクリームを食べるなどいくつか方法があります。スミス英会話布施校は8月の1週目、おいしいアイスクリームでクールダウンすることにしました。

2025年のアイスクリーム

2025年、私は8月1週目の英会話レッスンに来た生徒様にクランチシュガーコーンのアイスクリームを用意しました。数年前スミス英会話布施校の正面に新しくできたサンディというスーパーでアイスクリームを買いました。サンディは商品価格がとても安いスーパーなので、私はよく買い物に行きおやつにアイスクリームを買います。2025年のアイス、クランチシュガーコーンは私の好きなアイスクリームのひとつです！小さすぎず大きすぎず良いサイズで、バニラのアイスクリームとチョコレート、そしてサクサクのコーンのバランスが素晴らしいです。暑い夏に涼むのにぴったりの組み合わせです！

スミス英会話布施校のアイスクリームウィークは夏を涼しくする伝統行事です。私がスミス英会話布施校で新人講師だった約15年前に始めました。長い間、生徒様は8月1週目のアイスクリームを楽しんでおり、彼らの多くは7月に暑くなり始めるとアイスクリームウィークを楽しみにしてくれています！悲しいことに、新型コロナウィルス流行中は開催しませんでしたが、この伝統を再開することができて、この暑い時期に学校へ来てくれる生徒様をおいしいアイスクリームで涼しくできてとても嬉しいです！

A hot summer

This summer is very hot, isn't it? Summer in Osaka is always hot, but these last years have been very hot. So let's cool down! There are many ways to do that, like going to the pool, staying inside or eating ice-cream! We here in Fuse have decided to cool down this first week in August with a delicious ice-cream!

This year's ice-cream

This year, I prepared Crunchy Sugar Corn for all the students who came for their lesson in the first week of August! I bought them at the new sundy supermarket that opened just a few years ago nearly opposite of Smith's school of English in Fuse! It is a very reasonably priced supermarket, so I often go there and buy an ice-cream for a snack. This year's Crunchy Sugar Corn is one of my favorite ice-cream snacks! It has a nice size, not small and not too big, a great balance of the vanilla ice-cream and chocolate and a crunchy corn! A great combination to cool of during the hot summer!

Ice-cream week at Fuse

The ice-cream week at Fuse school is a traditional cool off event. I started it about 15 years ago when I was a new teacher here at Smith's school of English in Fuse. For many years, the students enjoyed the ice-cream treat in the first week of August, and many of them are looking forward to it when it is getting hot in July! Sadly, during the Corona time we had to take a break. So I am very happy that finally I could start the old tradition and treat all student coming to the school in this hot time with a nice ice-cream to cool off!
