京都府、西京区にあるスミス英会話桂校のオーナー講師でいることはスクールに関して全責任を負い、常に集中していることを要求されます。しかし、同時に私個人の興味や趣味に時間を作ることも重要です。時間ができた時、私はアートに目を向けます。私は幼いころから、アートに深い愛情がありました。学校の美術の授業は人生の中でも幸せな瞬間-私のクリエイティブ精神を満たしてくれました。

たまにの趣味として始めた事が次第に本物の情熱へと変わりました。過去8年間、毎週鉛筆とインクを使い練習し、定期的に絵を描いてきました。娘が小さかった時は、時々一緒に描きましたが、彼女は絵を描くことが好きなわけではありませんでした。娘は読書が大好きです。そのため、毎年ホワイトデーに彼女の好きなマンガのキャラクターのポスターを描き始めました。これらのポスターに彼女はとても喜びました。

この小さな習慣は他のことにもつながりました：それはスミス英会話桂校の生徒様への年賀状を作ることです。それはある寅年に始まり、それ以来、うさぎ、辰、ヘビ-と毎年描いてきました。スミス英会話桂校のオーナーとして、生徒様に喜びを与えられるような形で自分の情熱を分かち合えるのは幸せなことです。年賀状はとても人気になり、より作りがいを感じます。

Being the owner and teacher at SSE KATSURA demands full commitment and focus. However, it's equally important to make time for my personal interests and hobbies. When I do find that time, I turn to art. Ever since early childhood, I’ve had a deep love for making art. Art lessons at school were some of the happiest moments of my life—they truly satisfied my creative spirit.

What started as a once-in-a-while hobby gradually turned into a true passion. For the past eight years, I’ve been drawing regularly, practicing weekly with pencil and ink. When my daughter was very young, we sometimes drew together, though drawing was never her favorite activity. She loves reading. So, I began creating one White Day poster each year featuring her favorite manga characters. These drawings brought her a lot of joy.

That small tradition led to another project: making New Year's cards for the students at SSE KATSURA. It began with the Year of the Tiger, and since then, I’ve illustrated a rabbit, dragon, and snake—one each year. As the owner of SSE KATSURA, it makes me happy to share my passion in a way that brings joy to my students. The New Year’s cards have become quite popular, which makes the process even more rewarding.
