Ikoma city is home to Smith’s School of English Ikoma, and were so happy we chose this incredible city which is right between Nara and Osaka.

It’s the perfect location. We can get to Osaka or Nara in only 15 or 20 minutes by train. At the same time, Ikoma is a quiet city. It’s great for my family and for my business.

Ikoma, just twenty minutes from Namba, and has access to great shopping. You can check out the latest fashions, get high tech gear, or eat in wonderful restaurants. I sometimes need advanced equipment for my English conversation school here in Ikoma. For instance, I need things for making videos.

You might say ‘order online’, but I think it’s better to buy some things in person. It’s just a five minute walk from my Smith’s school of English to Ikoma station. I can be on the doorstep of Bic Camera in Namba in just 25 minutes. They have a great selection of high tech gear!

The same five minute walk to Ikoma station also gives us quick access to the world heritage sites you can find around Nara park. There are places like Todaiji and Kasuga Shrine. I really like going to Todaiji.

There is a pillar in the back of theTodaiji temple. If you can squeeze through the hole, you get a place in heaven. I have gone through the hole three or four times already!

In fact, now I think I’d like to visit Nara park soon. I’d like to spend some time around Sarusawa pond, and maybe relax in one of the cafes nearby.
