沖縄・宮古島旅行2016 3日目はこちらから

沖縄宮古島旅行、4日目も前日までと同じように、真っ青な青空とふわふわの白い雲！この日はまだ観光していない島の名所へドライブして周ることにしました。最初の目的地は「東平安名崎(ひがしへんなざき)」です。この岬は、360度見渡せる海の素晴らしい景色や1967年に設置された海抜43ｍにある平安名崎灯台が有名です。自然が生み出すリズムで波が絶えず遠浅の海岸に打ち寄せる、巨大な青い海。今まで見た中で最も穏やかな光景のひとつでした。ここに立てば、母なる自然のリズムを感じられます。

次に「池間島(いけまじま)」へ向かい、途中にある「世渡崎駐車場」に立ち寄りました。海に架かる池間大橋(いけまおおはし)の景色は息をのむほどきれいでした！私たちのように晴れた日に行けば、透き通った海、そして綿雲の浮かぶコバルトブルーの空が美しい絶景の写真を撮ることができます。Amazing!!

橋を渡って池間島を少し見て回った後、美味しいお店がたくさんある宮古島市へ。私たちはソーキそば（豚のあばら肉がのった沖縄そば）が食べたかったので、ソーキそばで有名な「古謝そば屋(こじゃそばや)」に行きました。列に並んで約1時間待ちましたが、待った甲斐がありました！ここのソーキそばは今まで食べた麺類で一番おいしかったです。麺はモチモチの食感、上に乗ったソーキ(スペアリブ)は信じられないほど柔らかいです。宮古島に行ったらぜひ、このお店でソーキそばを食べてみてください！

最後の目的地は、南へ向かい与那覇前浜(よなかまえはま)ビーチを訪れました。このビーチは宮古島の中でも有名なビーチのひとつです。海岸は長くさらさらの白い砂で美しいサンセットを見ることができます。他に訪れたビーチに比べると人はいましたが混雑というわけではないので、時間を作って行ってみる価値はあると思います。

ホテルのプール横でサンセットを見ていると、夕食の時間になりました。宮古島での最後の夕食は、宮古島牛の焼肉を食べようということになりシギラリゾート内にある琉球苑(りゅうぐうえん)へ行きました。お肉はとても美味しくて、サービスも良く、このホテルリゾートエリアでは一番いいレストランだと思うので焼肉好きなら行ってみてください。

これが私たちの宮古島旅行最終日です、宮古島を去らなければいけないのは少し悲しいです。またできるだけすぐ訪れたいです！皆さんも機会があればぜひ宮古島を訪れてください！！

Day 4 started off just like the 3 previous days; spectacular blue skies and puffy white clouds!! We decided to spend this day taking a car tour around the island to visit some spots we hadn’t been to yet. The first location on the tour was Higashi Henna Cape. The cape is famous for it’s incredible 360 degree sea views and lighthouse, which is 43m tall and was built in 1967. The views from the cape are absolutely stunning. A huge blue ocean with a never ending rolling of waves hitting the shallow coast that has a mesmerizing rhythm of nature. This is one of the most peaceful scenes I have ever seen. You can truly feel the rhythm of mother nature when you stand there.

Next, we headed to Ikema Island and stopped at the Yowatarisaki Parking Lot. The views of the Ikema-Ohashi Bridge and the surrounding ocean are breathtaking! If you visit this area on a sunny day, like we did, you will get some amazing photos of the most beautiful tropical azure colored water with cobalt blue skies and puffy white clouds. Amazing!!

After driving across the bridge, we took a short tour of Ikema Island and then drove to the main town of Miyakojima City, which has an incredible number of excellent restaurants. We really wanted to eat soki soba (buckwheat noodle soup with spareribs), so we chose a really famous restaurant called Kojasobaya. We had wait in line for almost one hour but it was worth the wait!! The soki soba was best noodle soup I have ever eaten. The soba noodles have a wonderful chewy texture and the soki spareribs were unbelievably tender. If you go to Miyakojima, you must try the food at this restaurant!!

To end our tour, we headed south to visit Yoneha Maehama Beach. This beach is one of the most famous beaches on the island. It’s very long and has silky white sand and has a beautiful view of the sunset. It had more people than other beaches we visited but it wasn’t too crowded at all. It’s definitely worth the time to go there and check it out.

After spending some time next to the hotel pool to watch the sunset, we started thinking about dinner…For our last dinner on Miyakojima, we decided we wanted to eat BBQ Miyakojima beef so we went to Ryukyuen which is located within the Shigira Resort. The beef was really tasty and the service was really good. I thought this was the best restaurant in the resort area. If you like BBQ beef you should go here!!

This was our last full day on Miyakojima Island and we were a little sad we had to leave. I want to go back as soon as I can!! Please visit Miyakojima if you can!!
